Founders Greeting

Greetings, dear friend.

I am Lady Grisham of Grisham Manor, and I am delighted you have found your way here.

What began as a creative refuge has grown into a thoughtfully curated collection inspired by romance, heritage, and the quiet beauty found in everyday life. As a Navy veteran and medical professional with a lifelong love of art and design, I hold a deep appreciation for both strength and softness — a balance woven intentionally into each piece you see here.

Grisham Manor was created as an artistic sanctuary — a labor of love. My hope is that within these collections you discover something timeless, feminine, and distinctly your own.

Thank you for visiting the Manor.

With warmth,

Lady Grisham

San Diego Fashion Week FW 24

Ballet in the Garden was the collection I designed for the 2024 Fall showcase during San Diego Fashion Week.

Ninety percent of the collection was created from up-cycled materials like curtains, heirloom sheets, and previously loved garments, each thoughtfully reimagined into something entirely new. Every flower was individually handcrafted and sewn by hand, while the intricate beading required countless hours of careful detail.

The collection was inspired by two of my favorite artists, Edgar Degas and Claude Monet, blending the grace of ballet with the softness of impressionist gardens. I wanted the pieces to feel ethereal and whimsical, yet touched with a subtle shadow  and beauty with depth.

Here are a few highlights from the showcase collection.

San Diego fashion week SS 24

When I created these pieces for the San Diego Fashion Week Spring Showcase, I envisioned a collection that felt romantic, dreamy, and undeniably touched with pink.

More than half of the designs were thoughtfully upcycled from thrifted linens and reclaimed materials, some hand-dyed and each reimagined into something entirely new. Breathing new life into forgotten textiles felt both intentional and deeply aligned with the heart of this collection.

I was especially drawn to the challenge of designing pieces inspired by the Melograno Cans, striving to capture their essence with elevated elegance and quiet charm.

The Spring Showcase was nothing short of magical.

Foster beauty fashion show SS 22

In the summer of 2022, I stepped onto my first runway at the Foster Beauty Fashion Show, still evolving, still discovering my voice, but already drawn to storytelling through design.

The theme was summer. For many, that means light and sweetness. For me, it meant Disney, though not the fairytales most would expect. I was captivated by the villains: the misunderstood, the ambitious, the beautifully dramatic.

Rather than just princesses, I explored shadow and intensity of characters layered with elegance, power, and edge. The collection embraced bold silhouettes and theatrical presence, revealing a darker kind of glamour beneath the surface.

It was a season of risk and revelation, where I began to understand that beauty is most compelling when it carries contrast of softness touched by danger, romance edged in mystery.

Because even in the brightest summer light, the most unforgettable stories are born in the shadows.
